Mistake Cod5 Crashes :(

when it crashes and when i go back on it, it says if i should play in a safe mode. when i press yes, i look at the Graphics and the video mode changes to 640 x 480, and that's bad graphics :S so i change it to something that has good graphics, but when i go on a server, after 30+mins the game crashes and Vista says with a pop up saying "Call of Duty: World at War has stopped working" and then closes.
I have Geforce 9600 512mb, 4GB ram, 160GB. Dual Core 2.8Gz with a 19" Screen, dunno if its HD.

Re: Cod5 Crashes :(

its not cod5, its codwaw :D...anyways....

go on that with internet explorer and test call of duty world at war...
and have you tried safe mode or always change it? try playing longer than 30 mins in safe mode, see if that works. I got a friend who has cod4 and his comp isn't..really good..and he has to play in safe mode :D...

check the requirements, it says you need 3 ghz, but I believe that is a single core..you have a dual core...im not really computer smart but my old laptop was 1.8 ghz dual core and it ran cod4 fine...when you needed a 2.4 ghz dual core...

Re: Cod5 Crashes :(

COD WAW needs a minimum of 2.4 Ghz P4 (Single Core)

you can try this :

Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices, under speaker settings choose advanced -> Performance
set the Hardware Acceleration on BASIC (move the slider two times to the left)
