Devil May Cry 4

So I just bought this game. Really really fun. But it sees my gamepad as a 360 controller and so the movement is now on the Dpad because that's what the game thinks is the left stick. Is there any program that lets you set your gamepad controls to that of the 360 controller? Something like joy2key but instead of to the keyboard. To the 360 controller?

hat about going into the controoler input option for COD4 and reammping it yourself?
