Post Halo Combat Evolved PC Problem

Hello,
I have this problem with my game, Halo Combat Evolved. It is for the PC and it worked fine for a few months. All of a sudden when I tried to start it, the game wouldn't load past the Halo title page.

I have tried reinstalling and it works sometimes but even then as soon as I close it, I can't restart it.

Thank you and I to you if you figure my problem out

Re: Halo Combat Evolved PC Problem

when you re install the game do you delete all your old saved games and folder it was in?

you can always try uninstalling the game and running CCleaner
http://www.ccleaner.com/

in the registry section just scan for issues

thus doesn't trry to "fix" the registry by moving stuff around (thats how computers get broken it just deletes unused registry entries.

I keep the saved games. Would that be my problem?

Re: Halo Combat Evolved PC Problem

the only way I can thin of the saved games as acting upis if they don't load up at all or give random errors during gameplay

but you should probably just delete the saved games to be on the safe side

delete any folder that has to do with the game.
