HUGE FPS Drop

Hi, I bought my computer back in 2006, and It was TOP OF THE LINE, i can tell you all the specs if needed but heres the problem. When I first got it and for about 2 years after I had absolutely no problems. 300 FPS in all games no lag what so ever but about a month or 2 ago my FPS in EVERY game dropped to about 2-15. Anyone know how to fix this?

Re: HUGE FPS Drop

Hi.
Please post your full system specs.
Also, which games are you getting the FPS drop in?

Have you tried cleaning out your PC? Dust buildup can cause heat which causes your components to run at a slower speed. Meaning less FPS.

Re: HUGE FPS Drop

Also, what size is your hard drive and how much free space is left? Do you defrag regularly?

Have you made any hardware upgrades or updated any device drivers recently?
