Can no longer Host LAN games
Hi
Over Christmas I had some problems with Malware and viruses on both my desktop PCs. Anyway finally removed the viruses using a laptop to first scan the diskdrives from each desktop in cradles then rescanning once back in the original computers. My problem is that my main desktop (call it A) can no longer host LAN games and this was always the one I hosted with before. My second one (call it B) can host LAN games but is not as powerful, which can lead to stability problems. I have not installed any new software since the viruses were removed and have tried running LAN games with the windows Firewall and the MCafee one turned on and off. (disconnecting the modem from the network to prevent online baddies getting back in) |
