Having trouble running PoP

Hi! I recently purchased Prince of Persia (newest) for PC. It installed and runs but the graphics lag and there's tons of slowdown, especially when there are many things on the screen at once. I've tried running it on the lowest settings with and without High-res textures turned on. Would anyone know how to increase performance?

Specs are:
Toshiba Satellite Laptop
Windows Vista Home Premium
ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics
1280x800 res
AMD Turion ultra dual-core processor
4GB Ram

hello there, it seems that your video card is a built-in for Laptops so it's under the minimum requirements, try this website to make sure :
System Requirements Lab

did you tried to run the game on lower resolution? (800 x 600 or 640 x 480)

I have not tried to run it on a lower resolution, only because the games hardware/graphics check confirms that my laptop passes the minimum AND recommended system requirements to play the game, so I didn't think that I should need to. I will give it a shot though. But if not, is there anything else that might help?

well I'm afraid not, Ubisoft released the game but did not add many options to the video options, so you can only lower the resolution and the overall graphics.
I have the game and I got a Geforce 9400 GT, I play the game with the resolution 1024 x 768 and on low settings. (high texture on)
it's too bad you can't enable the Bloom and shaders and turn off the shadows...
