Hard to tell.
It's not officially supported. I did read that one guy couldn't get it working, but you never know.
It might be possible.

GTA 4 is one of the worst poorly PORTED game from a 360 to a PC

I would think you need a minimum a 512 mb 8800 card or higher
dual core at 2.8ghz or higher
fast ram 667 mhz or higher

I have a GTX 260 (896 mb video card ram)
3ghz dual core) and I can only play on medium to low settings

@ Mcninjaguy: have you tried the -norestrictions -nomemrestrict command lines?
I was getting 20FPS on medium settings before, now with a few additional commands, I average 25FPS with everything on high except shadows, which I turn down because they are ugly.

lol i don't have windows 2008 server yet, but will get it in next few days, but got no money 4 for new ram and graphic card, i do have an old **** acer sa80 standard pc, i am hoping 2 get it replaced by acer, because keep having problems with it lately

this is what I have to launch GTA4

"D:\Games\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe" –norestrictions -nomemrestrict
(shortcut on desktop)
is this correct, I just added the "-nomemrestrict" command line

Yep, but makes sure you have Rockstar social club loaded up already before you runt he game from that .exe.

@tsf2009, the requirements are pretty high, most everybody is having trouble getting it to run smoothly on very high end systems, it's simply a terrible port with sloppy coding. They keep saying 'It's for future hardware' and so on but that's a load of garbage because there is nothing special about the graphics, the engine doesn't even support AA.

x1650 won't be able to run GTA 4 at all but the 3650 will probably barely be able to run it with all settings down to a minimum

I run GTAIV on a 512MB 3850 PowerCooler. After the initial install, the game was far from ideal (20-25fps) but ATI drivers v8.12 have made a huge difference (45-50fps).

theres no emulator for a Xbox 360 and TSF does not condone using Illegal software. So that won't work.

Some games just don't come out for the PC which is crappy and thats how they try to get you to buy a 360, but theres so many good games out nowadays that it shouldn't be a hassle to find a good game for your PC

i got total video converter new verison for free and works fine, u can convert games, i am gonna try convert my gta san andreas to xbox360 and see if it will work on my bros xbox360
