Cod 1 Steam glitches

Hello, i bought cod 1 off of steam and it has a couple of glitches for one during the oppening custscene a GIANT steam logo apperas on the screen and 2 when i try to play multiplayer it askes me for a cd key and steam never gave me one, anyone who can help me?

To get the CD key for COD it is displayed in Steam friends upon the game requesting the Key. Shift+TAB to bring up the Steam overlay while in COD.
If it is not displayed it could be located in your steam directory under a text document.
Steam/steamapps/common/call of duty.

ok, none of those work, because steam dosent give u a key for cod, and under the steamapps area for call of duty it dosent have anything, i bought farcry off of steam and it gave me a cd key but it didnt for cod and i spent a friken 20:00 on cod and i cant play mp, sp works fine though
