Delay In WoW & WAR

About a year ago I was in a position to get the opprotunity to try out for an open spot in a professional dota (Defense of the Ancients) league team. The only problem was I was supposed to log in and try out through a Local Area Network hosting system client called G-arena. When I downloaded it onto my computer everything went fine (ontop of the fact that my Isp was being upgraded from normal Comcast to Verizon Fios) and everything was fine and dandy. About a week later (The try out didn't go in my favour) I was still using G-arena and decided to keep using it. It was about that time that my internet all together stopped working, I'm talking about extreme lag, the internet explorer took 5 minutes to load up. I had given up hope since I did not have another computer, I did everything to try and fix it... Wiping it, new graphics card, cleaning the whole system... nothing worked. So about 3 monthes later I think hmm, maybe my network card is messed up. Ch-Ching! I plugged an ethernet cable directly into my router and the problem seemed to be solved. It wasn't until recently when Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning came out that I decided to upgrade my computer from a 2.0 GHz single core pc to a 2.81 GHz dual core pc ( Self made with same tower ). Everything went well I was having a grand ol' time. Then another computer was brought into my house and since I have a 3 computer Verizon secuirity package, my secuirity got turned off without my knowning, now this is a big problem as I browse through many dangerous sites, 4chan.org being one and Limewire as well. I'm pretty sure it was limewire but a Virus.Win32.parite.a came onto my computer and infected my Windows files, making it impossible for me to complete updates ( the virus was still unable to be completely removed even after I got my secuirity package back up and did many virus scans and other secuirity measures ). So I wiped my computer.. and it seemed to be fixxed; however I now have an odd delay with Warhammer and World of Warcraft when I play. I ill give you a brief rundown on what happens with my game play in WoW; including example videos hosted by Imageshack. My characters movement is fine except for when iI urn my character in place, when his feet should shuffle to adjust his position they quickly jerk into motion incorrectly. Another effect is that players (not Npc's) jerk around and Rubberband like mad (as seen in my video) the last and most affecting gameplay issue is the delay in my attacks/abilities, accepting quests, selling items, and talking to npc's is also delayed. Here are the two video';s that show rubberbanding and spell delay.

Re: Delay In WoW & WAR

DxDiag doesn't tell me what I need to know, its just a wall of text ( ican get a couple things from it)
Series of video card
drivers (I just know that they're installed nothing else)
CPU
and amount of ram
you have VIA motherboard ( not too many people like VIA motherboards, I don't)

I still wanna know your Power supply unit
exact type of ram make and model

can you use everest

spray out your computer with a can of compressed air to get rid of dust

also post your temps using EVEREST

Re: Delay In WoW & WAR

Well I downloaded the registry mechanic and tried the trial version, but for me I don't think changing my security from my isp is an option. As of RAM I have 4Gb (3.25 Recognised) and I will check my powersupply as soon as I can as I am not sure. My pc is cleaned out I did a thurough cleaning of dust and others last weekend.

Re: Delay In WoW & WAR

ok you can just take the side off your case and take a picture of your psu and post it here

how fast is your internet speed? I'm guessing its DSL or cable

you also need to definitely get rid of limewire

Have you made any changes beside what you posted above? like a new networking program, orverclocking/underclocking the video card

try installing the latest directX drivers
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

what Service pack are you using for XP?

Sorry but I can't see any of the writing on the PSU in those images.
Are you able to take another picture.
Make sure you get nice and close. We just need one clear shot of the label on the side, it should look like this:
