TIE Fighter in Vista
Hello! So, I've got TIE Fighter installed using the third-party Vista patch, and should be working fine... except for one minute detail: My old joystick uses the gameport. Vista doesn't support the gameport. TIE Fighter works, but will not run unless it detects a joystick. Since TIE Fighter is a Windows 95/98 native game, would it even recognize a USB joystick or gamepad? I'm planning on getting a Logitech Wireless Rumblepad 2, and I want to know if the X-Wing vs TIE Fighter game will recognize it. (This would also be very helpful if it worked in MechWarrior 2, as well.)
