Need help about ram plz

Ive just bought world of warcraft and it says i have not got the ram needed.But ive got 512 MB with is the minimum but when i looked to see what it was it was 480 MB so it has got lower. So does anyone know how i can get it back to normal?And i know it was 512 MB because ive got the sticker from when i bought it.

512mb? that isn't much. I suggest you upgrade to 2-3 gb. It isn't that expensive at all.

Hi joelisgreat and welcome to TSF,

Your RAM is displaying lower than it is because you may have an integrated graphics card (Built onto the motherboard) this shares/reserves other system resources like RAM and the CPU for itself so it can do graphical calculations.
Before you go buying more RAM motherboards have a limit to how much they can have. And many companies once you open a Product you cannot return it.

Please list your system specs, mainly details on your motherboard and i should be able to find the maximum amount of RAM your system can use.
