Deer hunter tournament(pc)

I just purchased this game from Best buy. You have to go to their site to download their online game. I did that but when I login I get a microsoft error message that says deerhunter has stopped working. I have emailed atari, and the deerhunter forum. no luck. maybe someone here can help. Granted this is a new game but people are able to play online. There is a dozen or so having this same issue.

What about right clicking on your .exe file and under properties, then compatibility
run as administrator
run as XP SP2

then right click on the folder the game is in and go into properties, security
click the EDIT button
for all those users allow full control but the main one is your username for the computer
click on - FULL CONTROL

tried this game, hated it (just wanted to get that out of the way)
