Suddenly My Computer Games Are Crashing!

I don't know why my computer games are crashing.
It all started out with grinding fans, one in the back(a general fan) and one on the side(extra cooling). also I recently replaced the power supply/ fan..........

To cool down the computer I removed the side and I put a household fan infront of it, to test to see if that was the problem but I am still getting a crash.

What happens is about 30 minutes into the game the computer suddenly says "game has crashed" etc.

I formatted my computer to try and fix this problem but it is still happening. I have not downloaded ANYTHING onto my computer since this format. Any idea what is wrong? It's driving me crazy and the games used to work fine before. The computer itself is not crashing and I have a temp gage on the front and it does not appear to be overheating....

this game ran fine before...even after the power supply replacement (start of 07) and after adding the expansion pack to the game (added over 3 months ago) ...this is a new issue....
