[SOLVED] Gameplay Issues

I recently purchased an ATI Radeon 4670 and have experienced
restarts of my PC with some of the older games.(eg: Fable,GTA Vice City)
I have tried every trick in the book ( I am a Tech, after all).
Everytime after my PC restarts like that I get that crappy error message
from MS that says :''The system has just recovered from a serious error".
Any ideas as to what might be the issue ? I think my Mother board might
be to old?

Has anyone else experienced any problems of the same nature?
Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
