[SOLVED] call of duty 5 (differnt problem to the rest)
ok, basically i get a TON of lag, frames per second lag that is, not internet, in both singleplayer and multiplayer, i can run cod4 at 125fps smooth maybe dipping to 90 sometimes, i can run farcry2 with all settings on "high" at 40fps minimum... how on earth could cod5 drop the fps down to 5? well... its not really constantly 5 its a 30....5...2...5....30 sorta thing i get this lag spike once every 5 or 6 seconds, it can last 2 seconds it can last 2 minutes its seemingly completely random, all maps iv played, also i played the beta with no lag what so ever so im assuming its a software issue not hardware.
running windows vista ultimate, hardware as follows; Processor: Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs) ~2.8GHz Memory: 2046MB RAM Hard Drive: 326 GB Total Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 512MB so yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT~ oh yeah, i have tryed useing all low settings, all high and everything inbetween, it doesnt seem to change how long or how frequent the lag spikes are. Re: [SOLVED] call of duty 5 (differnt problem to the rest)
marked! thanks again :D gotta love the sniper mission, i love being russians, next best thing when there is no english or they are incredibly steriotypical. i cant believe they changed the name of the "BREN" gun to type99.... thats just insulting.... yeah you yanks won the war entirely on your own and defeated the might of cousins winston hitler and adolf churchill and their russian-nazi crossed military.
bit of a lesson for any yanks who read this and don't know, the stupid ones; Soviet Union losses: Military; 10,700,000 Civilian; 11,400,000 Deaths % of population as of 1939 13.71% British losses: Military; 382,600 Civilian; 67,800 Deaths % of population as of 1939 0.94% USA losses: Military; 416,800 Civilian; 1,700 (how on earth i dont know, missionarys/docters maybe?) Deaths % of population as of 1939: 0.32% total deaths (aprox) in WWII both sides, civilians on both sides included; 72,771,500. thats a lot of people. Re: [SOLVED] call of duty 5 (differnt problem to the rest)
also, really the nazis kinda won, on deaths alone that is, only 23% of deaths in WWII were axis forces/civilians. the rest was allies. so really we lost....
