Cod5, omg!?!?!

HI,
i've been playing cod4 24/7 with 125 fps and no problems but with this codWW game its a different situation.

everytime i reinstall the game new, i can play 1 map multiplayer. when the server starts loading a new map, i get a DX error. i've tried everything to resolve this. Also, i cant create a new profile. this is no problem, since i just hit cancel when it asks me for a profile and the game is as i had left it before.

help please ;(
