Pc resets playing games
Hi guys,
I have this problem with my pc,everytime i play cod 4 or any other game my task manager shows massive memory useage and pc bleeps like mad then resets. i have inside my pc: dual core 2.80mhz 2gb of ram nvidia geforce 8600gt (updated drivers). i have this problem when i use convertx to dvd. any solutions would be great. thanx. gavwmac. |

Hi gavwmac and welcome to TSF,
Please download and install Everest from my sig, this is a very usefull tool. Once installed load Everest and using the menu on the left navigate to Computer > Senors. This will bring up the temperatures. I suspect that the beeps is temp warning before your PC switches off. I think your CPU is overheating. when you run convertX again look in everest and check your CPU temp. Can you please post what you find.

Hi aus karlos,
what i can see in everest sensors is the aux temperature is either false or overheating. So how do i correct this and rid off the annoying bleeping. file is attached. thnx |
