Gaming PC I am going to buy maybe..

Hey, there my mate is offering me his PC for £470.. reckon it's good for the money? Gonna be used for gaming.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 2.4GHZ

2GB HIGH speed corsair RAM

DVD drive

Antec 900 case

Creative Audio xtreme sound card 5.1

ATI Radeon X1950XT

250Gb hard drive SATA 2 x2

500 Watt corsair PSU

EDIT - SLI ready motherboard

if everything is in nice condition, I'd say go for it. I converted 477 euros to $592 and that system is worth much more than $592.

it is a good PC overall, the CPU is good, the RAM are good, the VGA will do OK, but I don't trust ATI for the gaming, but It'll be OK, and It's kind of bit old, and a DirectX 9.0c Card but it'll run all the games with the CPU the system has.
But like someone said here, please check that all parts works b4 you buy it from him, for that price, maybe he's dumping his PC for some reason, so b4 u buy, check.

Cheers people, I will check.

My mate at work (Tech Support PC Guy) said that getting a barebones bundle from Novatech would be better, using my current HDD and getting a graphics card such as the 9800GT. Comes with 2gb RAM and the Q6600 quad core, so I'll probs look around! :)
