hi since i have downloaded fifa 09 on my pc, it always comes up saying that " the game needs access to the internet in order to verify ownership of this game, how can i sort this out?

Hi, welcome to TSF

Check the settings in your firewall to see if it is blocking the game's internet access.

You might also have to forward some ports in your router config and/or firewall settings. FIFA 09 uses ports 80, 443, 3659, 30440-30449 (TCP/IP), and 3658, 9570 (UDP). See the manual or the readme text file for more details.
