Need help with strange need for speed pro street drift problem

Ok guys I hope someone can help. All other modes work fine. But in drift I go no where. What I mean is engine revs, gears show changing but the car won't move. I have tried combined pedals \, seperate pedals no difference. Problem started when I lost a hard-drive and had to reinstall. I thought maybe was a bad file so I uninstalled and re=installed the game same crap. I have tried with and without the patch. System is a p4@3.0 2 gigs ram ati radeon 3850 g25 for controller. Game worked perfect before the crash. Any hints what to try would be appreciated.

Thanks for any hints, has me stumped

try a system restore to a earlier date before the crash

Sorry no can do. Had a hard-drive failure so is a fresh install of all.

do you have any other games that are messed up?
try changing the security settings
right click on the main .exe file and got to properties, then to security change the settings for your main account something "Name/PC"

has it ever crashed to desktop?

All other games work fine. All other races in pro street work fine. Only the drift races in the game don't work. As I stated the tach and volume show the throtle is working the gear indicator shows the gears the car just doesn't move I am stumped. I can run all other races in the game just not drift. I have completed the game before. I just can't as of the harddrive replacement re-install. By the way thanks for the help!
