not my friend...flicker

I am using windows xp and I am having problems with some of the games that I have downloaded (Red Ace and Master of the Sky, Air Conflict and Air Guard). They are very flickery and I am unable to play them.
I am a computer idiot for I know nothing about them (I can turn it on and pull up the games, check email...simple stuff). Can something be done to solve this problem without me having to buy something else?

Hi cartuch,

I'm not expert but i have had a problem like this on Half-Life, it was my lack of ghz. So if im right you will probably have to buy some more.
