please help (lotr bfme2 error)

im looking for help on "the lord of the rings:battle for middle earth 2",thanks

whenever i start up lotr bfme2 everything is fine i can go to menu pick what sortove match i want,but once im about to actauly go into the battle an error pops up and it makes me shut down the game,

I have tried to play this on different settings high and low,still dosent work no games work (campaign,skirmash,war of the ring,online) and i dont think its my graphics card because i get a different error when i try to play rotwk that says i need better graphics card.Bfme1 works fine and i love it but bfme2 looks alot better and im dieing to play it.

please can someone help me.It would be much apreciated

Hi ventus and welcome to TSF,

the "game.dat" file is very important to the game. It more than likely that the file has been corrupted upon installing the game.
Try un-installing , restarting and then installing the game again.
