Team Fortress 2 Problem
I recently installed TF2 on my computer, and from the two times I've tried to run it, it has given me a blue screen for both times when i connect to the server.
I've met all of the minimum system requirements and almost all of the recommended system requirements. All I am missing, for the recommended system requirements is a 3GHz processor, which mine is a 2.8GHz. The game should be able to run, but it seems that for every time I try to play, it lags out and gives me a blue screen. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? |

Re: Team Fortress 2 Problem
Hi mcdom34 and welcome to TSF,
When the BSOD occurs are you able to write down the stop code at all? If the screen dissapears an your PC auto-restarts you can disable it by going to "Startup and Recovery" located in System Properties. To get there do the following. 1) Right-click on My Computer and select Properties. 2) On the window that has just appeared click the Tab that says Advanced 3) Under the section Startup & Recovery there will be a setings button. Click on that. 4) Another window will be displayed and then under System Failure un-tick the box "Automatically Restart". Now when you play TF2 again and you get the BSOD (Blue screen of Death) it will stay up. This will give you time to write down the Stop code and the driver/hardware that has caused the error. Once you have finished writing down the message simply press your restart button.
