sims 2 runs slow!!

Hi!!
well i have sims 2 with all expansions and all stuff packeges and it rus very slow!!
i have a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS with a processor with 2.2GHz and 2 of RAM.
And the games load very slow and the when you play it gets stuck alot!!
would 1 or 2 more ram would help?

You may have too much stuff on your computer try deleting some stuff and only use the expansions you really want, you might also have overheating issues with Sims 2 because I've played it and it does overheat a lot.
Slow loading is normal on Sims 2.
