Dungeon Keeper!! Wont Work!! Crashese . Please Help :(

i have not been able to get DK2 working on my vista laptop.. the specs will more than cope with this game.... here is my system...

i instal... once once i boot it comes up with the safe disk logo and then goes to a black screen... the laptop from there is crashed...cant exit out of the game.... Ctrl + Alt + Delete allows me to acces task manager, but my mouse is mone responsive.. Alt + F4 doese nothing ether .. i will upload some screenshots here....

as you can see here.. i have got the correct compatability settings ..

game disk in.... as normal boots....
((i instaled normaily and in SAFE mode aswell still dosent make a differance))

the SAFE DISC logo appeers....

then the screen goes black... and then thats it... nothing else!!

i press Ctr + Alt +delete to end program... it comes up:

but i cant use the mouse or close it in any way.

i try to instal the 1.7 update!!!... and this comes up :(

so i think its already with my disk or summat!!!

I am sure you have probably tried this but when running the installation right click and click run as administrator. Hopefully it helps but as i said i imagine you have already done this.

ahh yes i have.. :( this is most frustrating.. not being able to play a game that introdced me into pc gameing :(

no 1 else got any ideas?
