Help!, my games keep shutting down??!!

Hi, hoping that someone can help me...

I have been playing a few games and they keep being shut down with the error msg along the lines of.. 'game has stopped working correctly, windows has shut it down and will notify you if there is a solution to the problem'..???

The games play for differing amounts of time before they shut down, can be hours or can be seconds?, on the rare occasion there are some evenings when it doesnt shut down at all. I have recently upgraded my graphics card as I was told that was the problem and now have a Nvidia Geforce 9400 but it is still happening, anyone have any ideas? Nothing else is running that is conflicting with it, have checked that?

Try updating the drivers if you already haven't

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have checked the drivers and they are all upto date..
