gl failed to start

can anyone tell me what to do my comp is windows vista,it is saying
GL failed to start

Hi, welcome to TSF

Do you mean OpenGL?

When does this error message appear?

Are your device drivers, chipset drivers, DirectX and MS Updates all up to date?

Please post your full system specs and your graphics driver version number.

its when i try playing games ive downloaded and it is saying GL failed to start and i dont no what that means

Please post your full system specs, graphics driver version number and the full error message.

Do you get the error straight after clicking the icon to start the game, or while actually playing? If straight away, do you get a flash of the game screen before returning to the desktop?

Which games are you having trouble with? Are they bought CDs or copies that you've downloaded from the internet?
