Evil [SOLVED] Age of Empiers III (bad luck)

My house was broken into and they stole my computer (obviously I got a new one); unfortionatly disk 1 of Age of Empiers was in the cd tray, so I now only have Disk 2 and 3, and they game wont start w/out disk 1. Anyone got any ideas or should I just go and by the whole new game. (which sucks because I had hours of game play save files not to mention all my other save game files on other games that I had to start over on). Thieves are the worst people on the planet. It took hard earned money to slowly build my game computer to the max, at the time, and now I got to start all over again.

Hi, welcome to TSF.

I share your sentiments, but even if there was a way to 'by-pass' the 1st disk, you would have to start the game over again and because the disk was stolen, you might not be able to get a replacement from Microsoft.

Only real alternative then is to buy the game again.

Smile Re: Age of Empiers III (bad luck)

I finally got a hold of the right microsoft person on the phone(i hate robots on phones, lol), and they said they could send me disk1 for 20 bucks! So, i check on-line prices of the game, and I can get AE3 plus war chiefs expansion for 19.99=s/h! So, I'll just buy the set for the same price as the replacement, lol.
