Re: Call Of Duty 4 Crashing

More info than just "CoD4 Crashes" Anything you did? What does it do? Any Error messages before it happens?

Might try patching it.

Re: Call Of Duty 4 Crashing

Might want to look through the Infinity Ward PC sub forums

Here is the "Games Issues" forum from the "Call of Duty4" Forums to look through. I did find this thread there: COD4 multiplayer freezes & sound loops

But you will probably find more help after doing a "search" in both. "Game Specific" problems and answers means having to search/trawl through their forums. For me, the "result" is always worth the time spent in the "pursuit".

I haven't played the series yet, although would like to as I read the SP is pretty decent. But my satellite connection lags too much for any possible MP play. But I do know most basic game problems and solutions are "universal". Whether it has to do with a game just needing to be patched, updating sound/video drivers (always from their software websites), or a bit of tweaking through the config. Or its a corrupted file because download was not completed so you might have to "uninstall/reinstall/reboot" and so on.

Check to make sure your computer has been checked for possible malware/spyware et.c that could be the culprit. Same with checking with your anti virus program or with an online anti virus one.
