Re: I have problems on my need for speed???

Post your graphics card specs for us (make/model/size) and driver version (find it by typing Start Menu>Run>and type in "dxdiag" no quotes all small letters). This is a problem I run across when the graphics card is not up to the task at hand. Most recently it happened when my godson's computer tried to run Republic Commando with an ATI9250.

Try this first though : set everything you can to the lowest settings on the game: resolution 640 x 480, 16-color, whatever. Then step up the settings until it occurs again and tell us what you find out.

In the screens you have supplied us with your Graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 (128mb)
Is this correct?

Re: I have problems on my need for speed???

If your system is as follows:
Quote:
graphics card: nvidia geforce MX 4000 128 mb
RAM: 384 mb
cpu: pentium III
Then why did you supply us with these screens that are completely different from the system you are trying to run the game on? (Pics on the bottom of this post)

However this is a link to some MX 4000 Drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71_2.html
*Note* Installing drivers that are not make for the card will cause the installation to fail and you will receive an error message.

Re: I have problems on my need for speed???

Also reduce the resolution to the lowest settings in game, and tell us if the same thing happens.
