LOTR Battle for middle earth II does not load , reboots computer automaticly

hi,
I have got windows xp (service pack 2) and I got all the minimum specifications for'' LOTR The battle for middle earth II ''
(way over the minimum actually) but when I start the game the loading screen dissappears and reappears, then my computer reboots automaticly, just a few moments after my crtl+alt+delete says LOTR BFME ''reageert niet'' which means something like, ''doesnt react/work''. i reinstalled, rebooted, tried to mount it with magic iso and daemon tools but it diddnt work:P

anyone got any idea how to solve this problem (as far as i know my drivers are up to date)

Hi, welcome to TSF

Unmount your virtual drives, uninstall Daemon Tools and Magic ISO, then reboot and try installing from the CD.

well, it now sais, insert correct disk(the real disk, i bought the game is inserted) xd but i saw something about that already i believe ^^

Koala thank you for your help, it doesnt reboot my computer anymore, but there is one small problem, when i insert the disk, i get ''play now'' menu, i click play now and then it just doesnt do anything :P

any chance you, or some-one else knows how to solve that?:P

just a note: i tried setting it to 600x 800 resolution or something, but that doesnt work either

Make sure any virtual CD software like Daemon Tools is uninstalled, not just disabled. Some games won't run if they detect this kind of software as an anti-piracy measure.

If you can open the in-game options menu, set everything to minimum. If the game starts, then you can increase the settings one at a time.

hmm i think i have deleted every single mount programm entirely... but ill check again, must say my comp doesnt take ages anymore to load something xd

ps: im going to try download a patch, mby that solves the problem
