Installment problems,

Well I'm having problems installing the game ''Spore''
the problem is that it stops installing after the first bar, so at 1%.
it doesn't always stops installing at the same file, but always a different file, stops at different types of files sich as iso or jpg. but it always seems to stop at around 20/60 secs.

it gives an error, that it can't install due a an error in an I/O Device

Now i tried the dvd disc at another mates comp, and it worked there. so there should be nothing wrong with the disc or code.

I also looked if maybe there was another cd driver installed, but it is only 1, i never had problems at other games. (including other EA games)

I have no idea what could be wrong, so I ask it here. I asked some other mates to help and they couldn't find what was going on too. i came across this site after searching for a solution, which i couldn't find. so i had to create a thread.
