Too Dark

I just plugged the tft through dvi instead of vga. Now the black colour on sites became better, more dark. The problem is in game. The game was good but now where there are shadows i can see practically nothing. Before it was good.
Any suggestions? Dvi making this lot of a difference?

Sounds like the blacks are being crushed. Going from analog to digital shouldn't have such a dramatic effect. Have you tried adjusting the gamma settigns within the games?
