Problem with cod4 please help

Hi tech support i really need your help
i just bought a new computer, everything works fine
but now the problems come
i installed cod 4 and downloaded the newest patches.
i set the graphics to 1280*1024.
i joined a game, and everything was slow slow movement slow turns, when i try to shoot, after one second i heard the noice.
what could be the problem? these are my specs
Acer
Windows Vista Home Premium
Athlon(tm) Dual Core processor 4850e
4.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce 8200
is my videocard the problem, the people at the store said this was a gaming computer.
does someone know a solution?
plz help is appreciated

Perhaps a FPS problem? Or it could be something (or several) is running in the background that could affect the game. If you are in MP, it could a lag problem too depending on your method of internet connection (Dialup, Satellite, Wireless as opposed to DSL or Cable)

In the "FPS Problems" thread from the Call of Duty 4 Forums. From the forums "subject" threads others have this "noise" problem too. Might want to check those out too.
