can't play any games!

Hi I'm new to the forum and I have a problem with my pc which won't play my son's games, either online(World of Warcraft) or other games (eg warcraft 111). Problems started when we had the mother board replaced. Everything else works OK but when D tried to play WOW the game freezes immediately and when he tried to play Warcraft 111 we got an error message saying the disc was a copy - but it plays OK on other pcs. When we update the driver we get more error messages and sometimes the Blue Screen of Death. Our pc guy thinks it's an incompatibility with the video card and the motherboard and we need to replace the video card. We have Gigabyte S Series GA-M52S-S3P motherboard and an NVIDIA GeForce 7900GT Graphics card. Anybody got any ideas? Blizzard at WOW haven't been any help and I'm Not Very technical - and my poor boy is getting withdrawal symptoms from lack of gaming!
