Antec Earthwatts
Hi, just a quick question.. I'm looking for a new psu to replace my thermaltakte tr2-420w as it didn't have the required 26A on the dual 12v rails for my 9600gt. I've been looking at an Antec Earthwatts 430w at £40 which seems fairly reasonable and satisfies the 12v rails requirement. I was just wondering if this was a good deal and suitable for my needs, or whether there may be a better psu out there for no more cost..
Vista 64-bit XpertVision 9600GT (512mb) AMD X2 64 5000+ Sony DVD-RW+- 180GB HD SB Live Value (will probably be upgrading to a better soundcard soon) ^ I don't intend on making major upgrades any time soon apart from maybe the soundcard, so I'm not looking for an excessive amount of headroom from this PSU. Peace Paul |

Re: Antec Earthwatts
Hi Paul, is the 40 figure with VAT and postage included? I got one of these for 28 USD or so after rebate, so 40 pounds seems a little expensive to me.
Price aside, I think that PSU should perform decently with the 9600, since I read in some reviews that it has more than enough juice to handle an 8800GT, which I believe is about on-par with the 9600 as far as draw goes.
