been having some problems while playing games recently

this only started about a week ago or so, while playing games my mouse will completely lock up, and soon after that the whole computer freezes and i have to restart it manually, ive tried reinstalling video drivers and mouse drivers, but it continues to do it, i have an e6300, with 2 gigs of RAM and an 8800 GT 512mb, and the mouse is a revised logitech G5
