FRAPS Capping my FPS
I play WoW and use FRAPS to record. Normally I get anywhere from 150-400fps during normal gameplay at 1600x1050 widescreen.
I have the full version of fraps and have it set to record at 30fps/full. When I begin to record my fps in game drops exactly to 30fps and caps there. Now I've used fraps for a long time and don't recall it capping my in game fps however I can't say for certain if it used to or not since I didn't have a way of seeing my fps before. The fps reading is coming from in the game (not fraps) so I know it's definitely capped. |
