[SOLVED] COD 4 won't start. XP on MacBook

Another question. My friend has a core 2 duo 2.1ghz, 2gb ram and a 512 7800 card. He has a macbook and is running xp sp2 on it. COD 4 doesn't even start. the splash screen doesn't come up. Why?

last time i checked macbook ram isnt compatible with windows. Im surprised you could even get xp running.

well if you're running a virtualized version of xp you can do it! I've heard it runs mac in background with xp in the foreground. With that said I don't see why you can't get COD4 running with some special software.
Yes, I think it will be using quite a bit of memory cuz of the mac OS in the background but shouldn't be more than 1 gb of ram

I hope this helps ohh and yea you should be good for recommend specs or at the very least minimum. Who wants a to buy a game and just let it sit there wasting space??? I wouldn't!

he's using parallels. oh, and after changing the .asi file to .bat, it works!!!!! Thanks everyone for your great help
