COD4 problem

1. When i try joining a server in the multiplayer version, it says "Key Code in use. Try reconnecting later." Or something like that.

2. When im trying to launch COD4 singleplayer, it says "Protection Error : 103"

Anyone knows how to fix it?

Hi, welcome to TSF.

1. Have you applied the latest patch for COD and updated punkbuster? Are you also using a legit copy of the game?

2. After a quick google search, this seems to be a permission set error. Have you tried installing it somewhere other than the Program Files location?

1. I didnt update, and my friend didnt either, but his works fine. And yes i used a legit copy.

2. I installed it on my D drive

Ok i fixed the singleplayer problem, but a new one came up. When i click new game, the game freezes and it gives me a directx error and a flashing screen :(
