Getting shot in the dark
I'm not sure if this is posted in the right place. So Appologies now if its isnt.
I'm playing call of duty 4 at the min and for the first 4 or 5 mins of game play the game runs fine. Then after a while the screen flicks to black, the game carries on as usual but the screen flicks to black for about a second or two. As the game continues this keeps going on more and more often until your in complete blackness and getting a flicker of the game every now and again. The same is happeneing with frontlines: fuel of war although not as serious as when playing COD4. All other games seem to run perfectly ok without the flickering. I'm running a quad core processor with a geforce 8600 (could be wrong on the card type, will check it when I get home as I'm at work) Anyone have any suggestions? As you can tell I'm a complete newbie for the technical stuff. |
