Problem in WoW. Random Crashes.

Hello there.

I recently bought ( like two months ago) a new computer. I wanted to get a kickass-one for a low price, so i decided to build one myself (I've tried it a couple of times with great succes). I works like a charm, except for one thing. It crashes randomly when i play World of Warcraft. I'll just give you some information about my specs:

Motherboard: Asrock 4Core1600Twins-P35

CPU: Inter Core 2 Quad Q6600 8MB

RAM: 4GB DDR2-800Mhz SDRAM

Graphic card: nVidia Geforce 8800GT 512 DDR3 Ram

Harddisk: 250GB Western Digital 16MB Buffer

Powersupply: 450 WATT Corsair

Now to my problem. First of all, I've only had it happen in WoW. Never outside, never in another game (CS, CSS, Team Fortress 2, UT2004). And it can happen randomly. I could play every day for a whole week without it happening, and the next day it would crash several times.

The crash is like this:
Im just playing, and then the screen goes completely nuts. My whole interface split and jumps out of it's position, my name isnt stading in my name plate, my HP and Mana, aint at the right spot etc. The crash makes the computer freeze, and the sound loop. I can't even ctrl-alt-del. or tab out of the game. I have to do a hard reset on the reset button.
Sometimes, the crash aint just the UI going nuts, some times the screen goes black (whole screen, not just the game window) , and the sound disappers for like 5 secs, and then it's just noise thats coming out of the speakers. Another crash would be that the game window ( I play in windowed mode ) turns in great many colors and like zoom in and out, and then just freezes. Seeing I still can see my desktop, and that it is looking fine, it's only the game window that messes up, I tought it beeing a problem with WoW, but I've been searching for several weeks now, with out luck.

Even tho i play in windowed mode, I can't close the game when it crashes, because it makes the whole computer not responding.

I've updated everything i can, DirectX; Chipset Drivers, Videocrad Drivers, sound drivers, everything. I've tried disapeling all my AddOnd in WoW, but noone of the above have fixed it.

I really hope you guys can help me, because this is getting on my nerves.

Re: Problem in WoW. Random Crashes.

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling WoW?

I would actually take these steps if it were my system.

1. Uninstall Wow
2. Run chkdsk on my hard drive
3. Run disk defrag
4. Reinstall Wow
