Kotor problems

Ok I bought a Kotor PC game online that was new, I got it in the mail, and it wsn't opened. I installed it and everything and when I finally played it it froze completely once I arrived in the undercity. Every single time I tried to go in their it froze. No matter what I downloaded or reinstalled or waited this problem always happened. I spent over fifty dollars on a new game that doesn't even work. I want to play my game, so can someone please help me.

have you tried to update it? also update your video card driver if possible.

also try setting graphics to lowest resolution, disable any special effects like anti-aliasing, etc.

I've done that, someone told me I might need to get a patch for it because Dantoein has some glitches in it. How do I get the patches?

go to the game makers website you should be able to find patches there if they are available
