faster gameplay

how can i get my game to run faster its command and conquer : generals and im running on a intel(R) pentium4 2.00 ghz 256 mb of ram its really slow pls help

hmmmm, well to be honest.. you will more than likely need a Graphics card... but with a gaphics card you will need a reliable Power Supply Unit (PSU), Around 80% of newer graphic cards need about 320w power supply minimum to run.

2nd Choice-- Purchasing new RAM to 1-3Gb, but as stated above, need PSU to run.

Now... 3rd choice which won't cost money is Overclocking.... but this can be very risky for the uniexperienced user. i used Ntune from Nvidia to OC easy and simple.

Have yo tried running your game on a lower resoloution?
E.g (800x600) and also running the game on a lower DirectX may also increase performance... but sacraficing quality.
