PC crash during certain games?!?
first my specs:
Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT Intel Core duo 3 ghz 4 gigs of ram Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L power supply: ENERGON 750W Low-Noise Case: AeroCool ExtremEngine 3T 500 GB harddisk i have updated to newest drivers. Windows vista premium 64 bit. okay i should have got every last detail there now my problem. i've got a new computer recently because my old one broke... but now i have trouble with some of my older games, the problem only happens in games with the source engine and medieval 2 total war kingdoms. what happens is that when i play suddenly my screen no signal and my keyboard screen(g15) also freezes but the computer still runs, so i have to reboot. it happens alot faster in total war than in cs for some reason?!? i tried to check if it was a heat problem but it is clearly not the problem, and i also tried to run total war in xp mode but that also didnt work. and i tried running with low settings also no difference. í dont get why its only these a little older games that the problem happens cause i can play things like crysis no problem. so have anyone had the same problem ore know how to fix this?!? |
