Re: Age Of Conan running slow

But what are you connecting to the game servers with?

If your computer has more than what the specs call for, then it is what you are using to connect with. DSL? Cable? Satellite?

I would love playing the game myself and my computer is within specs to do this. But my satellite connection would give me high ping/lag problems. I have good download packets but upload is too small...due to distance the signal must travel down to, back up et.c. If the signal drops for any reason, my ping increases. Why I still play my MP games with Dialup.....consistant signal that carries large D/U packets equally. Just lacks speed which causes lag.

But if too many people are in the map.....my ping would go up too. But have no other connection options in my area. So learned to "adapt and overcome" to turn what others think as a "negative" to my "positive" advantage.

im running on a comcast broadband connection ive played WoW and other mmo's without a problem on this connection. so i dont think this could be the problem.

Re: Age Of Conan running slow

You might try going to DSL Reports.com and look through the Comcast HSI forum to see if anyone else may have a packet loss while gaming too in the last few days.
