Call of Duty 4 Connection Issues

Hey Guys, well i finnaly got my CoD 4 to work, Wonderful game. Well, i go to play a multilayer game i connect to the server, play out that match, but then, after i load the next map, i get disconnected from the server.
i do have the 1.7 patch.

so is there a way to fix this?

How are you connected to the internet? Router, modem... etc.

i am on a wireless connection, but i never had any problems before. i play alot of Online games

Try re-installing Call of Duty.

how many bars ya got on your wireless signal?

i hover around 2 to 3, but it's never been a problem before. I would like to be wired, but the router is on the other side of the house.

and can i reinstall with out deleting my profile?

im sure you could make a copy of the profile.its a matter of knowing where to find that.i dont know right off hand i dont have that game.
