Freezing while playing games.

Hello, im having a very unusual problem with my computer while playing any game such as LOTR online, Warcraft III, LOTR battle for middle earth and others. Although it has never happend while playing WOW it happens at least once a day.

OK, here is what happens. Im playing on my computer in either hot or cold room and im usually playing casually, my computer freezes up with dash lines all over the screens (dual monitors) at first i hear no sound and then the last bit of sound comes in, usally ventrilo and it loops. I thought it was my computer overheating but its ice cold. My graphics card is fine. I have no idea. I have pictures of it and noone seems to know what causes it.

Also, i cant replicate it, its random. I can have one program running or 10 and it will just decided when to do it.

I have a MSI Mobo, nvidea 7900 gt pentium dual core. for more details just ask.

I have a windows vista theme on my computer i never really tried to run the default theme mabie see if that theme screws up the games. BUTS ITS ONLY DURING GAMES. im never just surfing the web and freezes.

anway. i found a patturn, the only way to continue is to press the restart button and EVERY time i do that it always freezes again at the WINDOWS start up screen with the Windows logo and the bar that goes from right to left. It does this every time and never goes any further. then i press the restart again and its asks me how id like to start. safe mode start regular or last know you know what screen that is.

No clue what to do. I dont want to start buying peices and finding out that its somthing like pull the mouse and and plug it in again

any suggestions please let me know, any question please ask. PLEASE HELP!!

Sounds very similar to the problem I'm having. And it would seem that no one knows a fix... I just bought a replacement power supply, because I was told that a broken one was the cause... it wasn't.
