Problems with Lego Wars

I have just purchased a new PC with the following graphics card: 256M PClex 16 ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT w/TV-OUT, VGA and DVI. Is anyone able to help me to get Lego Wars going working as my 5 year old would be most grateful.

It shouldn't be too hard. I would recommend that you just insert the cd/dvd into the correct drive. Then an installer should come up and give you some prompts. I would stick with the defaults unless you want the files to be saved some other place than the default. Then just follow the prompts and you should be all set. You might have to restart you computer, but that is about it.

Cheers!

Thank you, I've done that but my computer keeps crashing half way through the installation. I think it won't work because of the graphics card.

Re: Problems with Lego Wars

What makes you think the graphics card is the problem? Lego Star Wars is 3 years old and can be played on cards much less powerful than yours.

Do you get an error message when the installation crashes? Does it crash at exactly the same point each time?

Re: Problems with Lego Wars

Yes, the screen goes a different blue and there is text on the screen telling me that there is a graphics error. The text is white and the screen is not an XP dialogue box. Would it be more helpful if I made a copy of the screen and attached it.

Re: Problems with Lego Wars

Yes, that's called a Blue Screen Of Death (or BSOD). The full error message and Stop Code will help pinpoint the cause of the problem.
