doom 3

hi i'm trying to play doom 3 on pc. when i apply new graphics, setting everything up high which it would have no problem with. everytime i restart doom 3 the settings never save. also is there a way i can play it on my native resolution which is 1440/ 900

Is this Doom 3 through Steam? Is this the demo, or retail?

Using something to circumvent the CD check such as a "no-cd patch" may cause such a problem.

Do the settings revert to defaults each time, or just the previous settings?

doom 3 is'nt a steam game. i did no cd the game. the settings revert to the defaults each time.

Before we can continue to help you, you need to uninstall and re-install and Do Not apply the "No-CD" patch.

tried installing medal of honour airbourne for pc and it goes to start the wizard then just turns off. is it anything to do with the AGEIA PHYSIX. i know my computer meets the requirments for the game

Doom 3 is on Steam for $19.99
The bottom line is, if you don't buy the game; don't expect it to work perfectly.

If popping in a disc is too much for you, you can look into buying a game disc "stacker" program that images your games and popps them into a virtual optical drive for instant access when you start the game. An example of this type of solution would be GameDrive (http://www.farstone.com/software/gamedrive.htm)

I am speaking from experience as I only have one disc drive and I prefer to use a disc “stacker” application.
